I often listen to music using Logitec's SqueezeBox. The accompanying server, SlimServer, is written in Perl. Nice!

Unfortunately, I have several nifty things in my music collection that seem to confuse SlimServer. So I was looking for a way to tell SlimServer to not look in certain directories. And since that was not possible, I developed a small patch to SlimServer. With this patch, SlimServer will not scan into directories that contain a file .slimskip.
